Mod 1: Industries in Bihar
The industrial sector in Bihar has a narrow base when compared to other states. In the industrial sector in the state, there are only a few mineral-based industries while agro-based industries are predominant. The bifurcation of the state in 2000 further slowed down the growth of the industrial sector. The state government is very eager to promote the industrial development of Bihar.
