Mukhyamantri Setu Nirman Yojana:
This flagship scheme provides all-weather connectivity to remote rural habitations. Under this scheme:
- Bridge projects with an estimated cost up to Rs. 25 lakh are executed by the District Administration.
- Bridge projects exceeding Rs. 25 lakh are entrusted to the Bihar Rajya Pul Nirman Nigam Limited (BRPNNL).

BRPNNL was established in June 1975 and functions under the Road Construction Department. It handles high-value bridge, culvert, and elevated corridor projects across Bihar.
